Sweet Potato Millet Breakfast Porridge
A warm, nourishing breakfast porridge without all the sugar. This recipe is Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Egg Free & Refined Sugar Free.
Ingredients:
1c. organic millet
5c. water
1c. peeled & diced sweet potato
2 tsp minced organic ginger
1 tsp ground organic cinnamon
Favorite plain non-dairy milk
Directions:
Rinse and drain millet. Place millet, water, sweet potato, ginger and cinnamon in a deep pot. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer until water is absorbed. Approximately 1 hour. Stir often while cooking.
Remove from heat and serve with your favorite non-dairy milk.
Makes 6 servings.
