Berry Smoothie

Great tasting smoothie to get you ready for your day or great for an afternoon pick-me-up snack.

 

Ingredients:

1c. favorite frozen organic berries or a mixture - blueberries, strawberries,  raspberries, blackberries or peaches

½ frozen organic banana

1/2c organic dairy free milk (rice, almond, hazelnut, coconut milk)

1T. organic flax seed

1 handful of chopped organic kale or organic baby spinach

1/2c. water

2T. organic protein powder 

3-4 ice cubes

2T. melted organic virgin coconut oil

 

Directions:

Place all ingredients into blender except oil. Slowly pour oil in while blending. Beat all ingredients for 2 to 3 minutes or until well blended. Pour into glass and enjoy!
